Hey there! We’re Fawn & Sarah, the sisters behind Balanced by Plants. If you made it here, we’re excited you found us!

We’ve spent years trying to make sense of changing health needs, conflicting nutrition advice, and the challenge of building habits that actually last. Through our own experiences, we’ve become passionate about the role nutrition, movement, and everyday choices can play in supporting long-term health and well-being.

Raised in the Midwest, we became very familiar with the health challenges often associated with the standard American diet. We’ve witnessed firsthand our family members face heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and cancer. We’ve watched loved ones lose mobility, become wheelchair-bound, and rely on others for care.

We’ve seen firsthand how nutrition and lifestyle choices can shape quality of life over time. Our goal is to help people feel stronger, more energetic, and more confident in their health for years to come.

Our approach is rooted in plant-forward nutrition, movement that feels good, and simple daily habits that support metabolic and hormonal health over time.

Our Mission

We created Balanced by Plants to make healthy living feel approachable, enjoyable, and sustainable through nourishing plant-based recipes, practical nutrition guidance, and evidence-based wellness resources.

Our Approach to Information

We care deeply about the quality of the information we share. The wellness space is full of conflicting advice, bold claims, and trend-driven content, and we don’t believe that’s helpful. That’s why we intentionally limit where our information comes from and return to the same trusted, evidence-based sources again and again.
