Hey there! We’re Fawn & Sarah, the sisters behind Balanced by Plants. If you made it here, we’re excited you found us!
Like you, we’re women in menopause with a goal to understand our changing bodies. We both feel that if there is a way to thrive in menopause… to have some power over our health, energy, strength, mobility, and confidence… we want that for ourselves and other women.
Raised in the Midwest, we became very familiar with the life-threatening conditions that can result from the standard American diet. We’ve witnessed firsthand our family members contend with heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and cancer. We’ve watched loved ones lose mobility, become wheelchair-bound, and reliant on others for care.
Of course, we don’t want that for ourselves or our children. We want to fight obesity, the standard American diet, and it’s associated diseases. We want to be healthy, vibrant, strong and mobile for as long as possible, and we want to help others seeking the same.
Our approach is based in holistic nutrition, movement that feels good, and fundamental daily habits that promote hormonal health and longevity.
